El Nido emphasizes a calm environment for all daycare pets and overnight guests. Surrounded by Costa Rica's lush nature with real grass, flowering fauna and plenty of lounge spots in the shade for your pets to relax. Even the cats and exotics get some fresh outdoor space for themselves separate from the dog play areas.
We offer supervised & interactive dog play groups based on size, temperament and manners.
We welcome pets with special needs who can use extra care and attention to be comfortable while away from home. Including seniors, surgical recovery, those with health ailments or injuries. Our SafeCare suites include extra bedding, temperature control and no charge for medications and vet concierge is included for our geriatric pets if needed.
We host exotic pets with pleasure: guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, turtles, lizards and birds. Species are separated for safety of course!
We're located minutes off Highway 27 just West of San José in the beautiful Central Valley. Minutes from Escazú and MultiPlaza, Villa Real and Lindora. We're a 5 minute drive off the exit on your way to the beach (Jacó, Manuel Antonio, Los Sueños, Playa Hermosa & more).
