An asset is defined as a useful or valuable thing, person, or quality. We ask ourselves how safety could be considered as an asset? To quote John Henshaw (former Sec. of Labor) “Reducing workplace injuries and illness conserves critical resources and improves the use of those resources. It saves money and avoids unnecessary costs and ultimately maximizes returns on business investments.” So let’s get together and discuss how we can make our facilities Thrive by saving assets!
